Mission, Vision and Objectives

The bulk of evidence clearly points toward a very different climate, environment and society in a time horizon not far beyond the next human generation. The byproducts of our energy model will significantly alter Earth's climate system, and in a few years nine billion people will face global warming of at least one and a half degrees on average, a remarkable temporal and spatial redistribution of rainfall patterns, as well as a significant increase in the frequency of extreme weather events. All these people will need food, water, housing, healthcare and energy. How these needs will be fulfilled in a world with increasingly scarce resources is a complex conundrum that still needs to be solved. We want to do our part in finding a solution for the benefit of future generations.
